Australia’s construction sector continues to post strong growth. Construction workers with skills are some of the most in-demand workers in the country, driven by record-breaking infrastructure investment and a continued housing shortage. If you’ve ever thought about a career in the built environment, now is the perfect time to take that step
Why Construction?
The construction industry employs more than one million Australians and contributes nearly 10% of GDP. Careers in construction are largely recession-proof – unlike many industries, buildings always need to be built, renovated and maintained. Opportunities include residential housing, commercial high rises and major infrastructure.

It covers all elements of project planning, cost control, contracts and WHS compliance and supervising licensed trades. On completion of this diploma you will be eligible to apply for a Builder's Licence in most Australian states and is a prerequisite to managing construction projects valued at $10,000 or more.
